For a few days, cities are already preparing for Christmas by decorating the streets and parks. It is a very beautiful time to share moments with our family and friends and that is why in Torrevieja organize multiple cultural activities so that we can enjoy our days of rest on the Costa Blanca.
Christmas cultural agenda
After the popular lighting of Christmas lights, another important event of the big cities is the traditional symphonic concert of the best orchestras. Torrevieja was not going to be less and next Sunday, December 1, at the International Auditorium, the Torrevieja Symphony Orchestra will delight us with works by Mozart, Arriaga and Haydn.
On the same day, a Christmas Concert will take place at the Virgen del Carmen Shopping Center and a Gospel concert at the Arcipestral Church of the Immaculate.
During the month of December, numerous children’s workshops, charity concerts and plays have been organized for the residents and visitors of this city to enjoy these parties.
Speaking of Christmas traditions, the nativity scenes are part of our culture and in Torrevieja there is a museum dedicated to them so it is a good time to visit it. This museum has sculptures of angels, paintings of the Nativity and other religious works (Av. Diego Ramírez Pastor, 20, 03181 Torrevieja, Alicante). Also in the Plaza de la Constitución you can visit the Bethlehem organized by the town hall.
